Our unique training program for hempcrete installers is based on the BCA certified hempcrete products, INSULIME and INSULCORE.
People with the following qualifications can apply:
- Builders
- Carpenters
- Owner Builders - It is not necessary to have your owner builders licence at the time of training, however materials may not be purchased until your license is obtained.
- Architects (conditions apply, see above)*

About the Training:
This training program is like no other training offered in Australia. It is a unique opportunity for you to further your skill base and familiarise yourself with this sustainable building product, as well as becoming a Accredited Hempcrete Installer. (Trade licence holders only)
Builders, Carpenters, Owner builder licence holders* are encouraged to apply. 12-15 places maximum per training.
The training program will provide attendees with a hands-on opportunity to learn about and become better acquainted with this easy to use product.
You will be trained by a builder with straight forward instruction in theory, practice and the business of working with hempcrete.
Staff from Hempcrete Australia have toured extensively throughout Europe meeting and working with installers, trainers, builders, developers and manufacturers with over 20 years of experience. These experts have created mixes, binders, renders, machinery and building techniques, and most of all, globally erected over 20,000 hempcrete homes and hempcrete retrofits. Hempcrete Australia attained the first BCA certified system. The basis of the rules and regulations for the comprehensive Hempcrete Australia Manual come from the national guide for hempcrete builders under the French 'BCA' and certified by the "Bureau of building products quality certification" in France.
Hempcrete Australia works closely with the founders of the various hemp building organisations in
France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Holland, England, Ireland, America and New Zealand.
The three day training program will guide tradespeople and people with an owner builder licence through for example; the history, properties application references to BCA and business approach of hempcrete building.
